The 2026 Outback Bowl season has officially begun, and Grey marked the occasion by spending an unreasonable amount of time making an Oregon Trail-style game. This is the same Grey who does not even code. Apparently that was a minor detail, not a deterrent.
In Search for the 2026 Outback Bowl, you set out on a pixel-art hunt for clues to this year’s host city. The trip drops you into Outbacker lore, questionable travel decisions, and mini-games that include kicking field goals in Baltimore. It is extremely specific, proudly unserious, and a lot more ambitious than a season kickoff has any right to be.
Grey built the game. The rest of us now have to play it. Pack your pixelated supplies and start the search.
